One dead, 13 injured in taxi collision
VICTORY PARK – A women has fallen victim to yet another taxi accident, as she was proclaimed dead on the scene.
A passenger has died from yet another taxi incident.
A women in her 30s suffered fatal injuries when two light vehicles and taxi collided in Victory Park early on 6 November, ER24 reported.
Thirteen others sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
“ER24 paramedics arrived on scene after battling heavy traffic, caused by the collision. Once on scene, paramedics found a taxi and two light motor vehicles blocking one lane of the busy road,” the emergency services provider.
According to ER24, paramedics assessed the scene and found a female patient lying in the taxi with no signs of life.
“Unfortunately the patient had already succumbed to her injuries.”
There injured patients were treated and transported to various hospitals for observation.
The taxi had allegedly lost control before hitting the pavement and rolling, landing on its side.
