Morrells Boutique Estate scooped a prestigious award at Table Bay Hotel on 6 December.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards presented Northcliff’s Morrells with the prize for African winner as 2014’s top luxury wedding destination.
Hotels across the world gathered at Table Bay Hotel to honour the exemplary services provided by International properties who exceed expectations.
Founder Bernice Morrells was pleased with the achievement.
Being among stars of hospitality, Morrells said, “What and honour to be recognized on a worldwide stage for our efforts and accomplishments in creating memorable occasions in our special little haven in Northcliff.
“If it wasn’t for the people who cook, clean, serve, sell and manage so well we would not have won this award,” she said.
“There’s no doubt, being featured on this elite list portrays Morrells Boutique Estate as one of the top locations not only Johannesburg but the world.”
This pinnacle of achievement offers the growing numbers of luxury seekers and discerning travellers a trustworthy standard to refer to when looking for accommodation, she said.
In 2015, Morrells aims to pull out all the stops. They will be continuing with vintage movies night screenings for all to enjoy.
