Eight King David matrics rank among national top 1 per cent
VICTORY PARK – It's victory for King David High School, as the matrics bow out with a 100 per cent pass rate.
King David High School Victory Park matriculants enter 2015 with a 100 per cent pass rate in their hands, after the school announced how they fared in 2014.
Pupils Joshua Broomberg and Eve Kollenberg came out on top with nine distinctions each.
Broomberg and Kollenberg made it to the IEB Outstanding Achievement list and IEB Commendable Achievable list respectively.
The school’s media liaison Yael Gordon said 54 out of 58 pupils achieved university passes, with a repertoire of 156 distinctions.
Along with Broomberg and Kollenberg, Jesse Weisz, Michal Shushan, Jonti Strimling, Jordan Ochayon, Amy Strous and Ariella Mankowitz rank among the country’s top 1 per cent in their respective subjects.
King David acting headmaster Bruce Nozaic said they were exceptionally pleased with the results achieved by the class of 2014.
“The students need to be praised for all the hard work they have put into their studies as well as to the staff for the dedication and commitment shown throughout the year towards the task at hand,” said Nozaic.
“I would like to take the opportunity to wish all our [pupils] well as they celebrate their achievements and to wish them the best of luck as they embark on their future studies.”
