GALLERY: Easter eggs hunt fun at Victory Park
VICTORY PARK – Victory Park Shopping Centre treated its shoppers to an Easter egg hunt and free face painting during the Easter season.
Victory Park Shopping Centre hosted an Easter egg hunt and free face painting for shoppers at the centre over the long weekend.
The event was as an effort on the shopping centre’s part to provide a fun and vibrant environment for children and shoppers.
PR and marketing consultant for the Victory Park Shopping Centre Stellio Coutsides said, “For the month of Easter, Victory Park Shopping Centre set up an Easter egg hunt for children 12 years old and under. The Easter egg hunt ran until the weekend of 6 April, where participating children were treated to beautiful face painting, just outside the centre’s Pick n Pay on 4 April. We are very happy to be able to give back the shoppers during this busy time,” he said.
Never Grow Up Events owner Monique Naudé was tasked with the duty of painting the faces of children on 4 April.
Naudé was honoured to be able to showcase her face painting skills with excited children.
“It has been a wonderful opportunity creating fun and exciting face paintings for the children. You could really tell that it brightened up their day,” she said.
An Easter hamper competition was also held, where children could enter with colourful drawings of the Easter bunny.
Coutsides recently hosted a draw where three winners were announced.
First place was awarded to Connor Noah (4), second place to Lincoln Engelbrecht (9), while third place was awarded to Jana Mostert (8).
