Apprentess finalist wins Best Marketer Award

Cecilia Mdluli may not have won the Aprentesses Competition but the Fairland resident did not come home empty handed.

The awards ceremony was held at Centurion Theatre  on 8 August and Mdluli made it into the top five with the Best Marketing Award, owing to the amount of publicity she sourced for her campaign.

When asked on her final thoughts on the competition and how she felt about the results, Mdluli said the competition had instilled in her a passion for supporting charity. Mdluli added, “I’ve realised that it only takes initiative and good planning to be able to raise funds as a lot of people are always open to participate in charity initiatives.”
