JMPD patrol car collides with a Toyota Conquest

NORTHCLIFF – JMPD patrol car involved in a morning accident on Beyers Naudé.

Traffic at the intersection of Beyers Naudé and Milner Street near Northcliff came to a standstill on the morning of 26 October after a JMPD patrol car on duty and a blue Toyota Conquest collided.

JMPD spokesperson Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar confirmed that one of their cars was involved in the accident which he described as a minor accident.

“It was at about 8am when the accident happened,” said Chief Supt Minnaar.

He said no one was injured but the officer had to leave the car in that possition for the investigation officers to record the accident.

“No opened case, because it was minor damage and no one was injured,” said Chief Supt Minnaar.
