Pedestrian knocked down in Northcliff

A pedestrian suffered moderate injuries after he was knocked over by a motorcyclist in in Northcliff at about 8am on 13 January.

Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer Athlenda Mathe said that according to reports from the scene, the 50-year-old man was crossing the road when he was knocked over on the corner of 14th Avenue and Norman Drive.

“Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene and treated the man. The man was then transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care,” Mathe concluded.
