King David Victory Park obtained a 100 percent pass rate with 55 candidates having written the 2016 Matric examinations. The candidates also achieved 100 percent University entrance rate.
There was an average of of 3.56 distinctions per candidate and 91.8 percent of all candidates achieved above 60 percent in all subjects.
Headmaster, Andrew Baker, said the school was exceptionally proud of the 2016 Matric class for their brilliant overall achievements in the NSC Examinations. “We are not only proud of the learners who achieved eight or 10 distinctions, but of the entire group for achieving Bachelor’s Degree passes.” He added that some matriculants had entered the school from remedial primary schools or with significant barriers to learning.
“I am especially proud of these learners because of what they have achieved.”
