Vox Pop: How happy are you with the City of Joburg’s service?

JOBURG – We spoke to a couple of ratepayers at the Region B Customer Service Centre to find out what their experience was like.

Region B residents from Northcliff to Melville often have to make their way to the Region B Customer Service Centre on the corner of Jan Smuts Avenue and Bram Fischer Drive. We spoke to some of them to find out what their experience was like.

Their responses might not be what you expect …

MOSHIDI RAMAILA: The service is not that good. If you sit in the queue, it seems people are jumping the line. The system should work differently.

INA CLEMENTS: The service has improved a lot. It was quicker than it used to be. There are still long queues but it is very organised.

HERMAN LE ROUX: I normally get rather good service. I came to get a form to renew my driver’s license and I got it very quickly. There have been no problems.

MDUDUZI NSIPI: They have good customer service. Each and every time I come here they help me in time. They do not delay me.

AMANDA HARRIS: There are a lot of people and they cope the best way they can. It is not the best experience to have but it is something you have to do.

NERO MIRIRI: The service is good and they try to be fast. When you come at the right time, when it is not as busy, you are able to do all you need to.

THULANI NGOBANI: I am also very happy. Here everything works fine and well. It is better here than at many other municipal centres I have been to.
