Woman knocked down in Newlands in critical condition

A woman is in a critical condition after she was knocked over by a vehicle on 26 June.

The incident took place on the corner of Italian and Brown roads in Newlands. ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene to find the women lying on the pavement and treated her immediately. She was then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Three other individuals were involved in the incident and sustained minor injuries. They too were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. ER24 said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident were unknown.
