Fairland residents urged to attend CPF meeting on 13 November

FAIRLAND – This meeting will be a special one as the CPF will hand out awards and certificates to their fallen heroes, sponsors, victim support members and patrollers.

The Fairland Community Policing Forum (CPF) will be hosting their monthly meeting on 13 November at Mosaïek Church in Fairland.

The meeting is scheduled to start at 6.30pm and feature multi-layered reports on the areas policing related matters.

This meeting will be a special one as the CPF will hand out awards and certificates to their fallen heroes, sponsors, victim support members and patrollers.

At the meeting, there will a report on the state of crime in the policing precinct presented by Fairland Police Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Clive de Freitas.

They will also provide updates on trials, convictions and their patrolling strategies.

Metro police will also be present at the meeting to report back to residents on issues they have tackled since the last meeting. Dr Sally Röthemeyer of the highly successful Victim Support Unit will also address residents and guests.

The CPF urges members of the community to attend these meetings as it gives them first-hand information on how the safety and security of the policing precinct will be prioritised.

People attending the meeting will also be given an opportunity to engage and inquire on matters with the police, Metro police, security companies, ward councillors, and the CPF.
