Orban’s Spring festival

WESTDENE – The school rang in the new season the best way they knew, through loads of fun!

What does lovely warm weather, jumping castles as part of an obstacle course, crazy spring fashion and even a colour run have in common?

Well, these were all the fun activities held at Orban School when they rang in their Spring Day celebrations. The school waited with baited breath to celebrate the day and their festival did not disappoint.

On the day, the obstacle course proved to be a firm favourite with all learners. There was an assortment of fun activities for them to be part of which the school referred to as ‘boeresport’ such as an egg run, ‘sak-spring’, and ‘toutrek’ had everyone exhausted.

The colour run was said to be an explosion of colour, that brought smiles to everyone. Even the teachers participated in one of the many highlights the Spring festival had to offer.
