I pledge to be transparent on issues affecting the ward and being accountable through constant engagement. I will hold regular public meetings and to report regularly to the ward committee and work as a team. I commit myself to forging political alliances that promote the wards interests and promote progressive policy shaped by the lived experience of my constituents.
DAVID KRUGER, ACTION SA: My priorities will be to effectively address the electrical and street light issues, safety and security, resurfacing of roads and pavements and focusing on environmental issues and recreation facilities. I will also focus on job creation through recycling. My approach would be of a consultative nature based on the input, suggestions, and engagements with the residents of the ward.
NICOLENE JONKER, DA: I will help build a robust and inclusive representation with all sectors while facilitating interaction between the community and City to assess specific needs. As councillor, I will ensure regular maintenance and upgrades of the infrastructure and strive to resolve billing issues at the council level. I will do my best to protect the environment and parks and create spaces where residents feel safe.
