Chic Mamas finds a new space

LINDEN – Local non-profit organisation, Chic Mamas Do Care Jozi share on their location change and why they couldn't leave Linden.

Chic Mamas Do Care Jozi is moving spaces, but don’t fret too much about it, they’re still going to be Linden based.

The Northcliff Melville Times had previously written about the non-profit organisation and described it as an organisation that sells pre-loved, high-quality clothing to assist charities/projects that are involved in early childhood development (ECD).

Manager of the store, Karen Harvey gave details about their move and why it just made sense to take this new bold step. She explained that even though the organisation was highly focused on raising much-needed funds for ECD projects, and not specifically on the upgrading of their premises, the move kind of complemented their two goals.

The store will move to 59th 4th Avenue, Linden Place which means shoppers can now park their car in a courtyard and shop comfortably. They thought it beneficial to stay within the community as they have been well supported. “The community has an awareness for the reduce, reuse, recycle concept and we have found them passionate of this value and therefore conscious shoppers. We’ve made Linden the home of Chica Mamas Jozi,” said Harvey.

Harvey added shoppers could now expect a slightly new Chic Mamas look with more space, which included a patio for customers to linger.

They hope that through the move, they will be able to attract more customers, and support local ECD projects.
