How the Melville Koppies hopes 2022 will look like
MELVILLE – What you could do to help make 2022 a great year for the Melville Koppies.
So what does the Melville Koppies Nature Reserve hope 2022 will look like for them?
Well firstly, they hope to get more visitors this year. Coupled with the need for more visitors, it hopes to also get more funds and more donors. Along with these hopes they also need for Joburg City Parks and Zoo to do speedy repairs of stolen/broken fencing.
One of their biggest challenges is finance as it has always been a challenge. The community can assist with monthly/annual donations and also by bringing family and friends on frequent visits to the koppies. There is also a R500 membership fee which entitles the holder to a year’s Sunday morning hiking on Melville Koppies Central (half price for kids).
To make sure the nature reserve keeps thriving, community members can go for a walk on a Sunday morning and discuss how one would like to help.
All in all, however, the nature reserve wishes all the community a Happy New Year.
