NOTICE: City Power emergency work to affect Rand Water operations
JOBURG – Take note of the planned water emergency shutdown scheduled for 5 and 19 February.
City Power has scheduled emergency shutdowns for the repairs of electrical equipment supplying Rand Water’s Eikenhof pumping station.
Rand Water said in a statement that the emergency shutdowns are planned for February 5 and 19.
As a result, the following areas will ‘likely experience low water pressure or a shortage for a number of hours’:
- Northcliff
- Cresta
- Honeydew
- Fairlands
- Cosmo City
- Soweto
- Hursthill
- Fleurhof
- Weltevreden Park
- Helderkruin
