Cheerleaders shake their pompoms in Victory Park

De La Salle Holy Cross College recently hosted the first Gauteng Majorette and Cheerleading Association competition of the season.

In the competition, the school’s co-ed and all girls’ teams achieved third place in their categories.

The college and visiting cheer teams showcased their talent, hard work and determination. The event offered partner stunts, group stunts, small all-girl, large all-girl, small co-ed and large co-ed divisions for primary school, high school, and tertiary teams.

The athleticism and passion of the athletes was clear and gave the competitors a wonderful opportunity to showcase their skills.
