Crossroads School’s new batch of Grade 1s includes Ben Joseph, Liyana Hlabangana, Leko Mkhonza, Clark Oehl, Dylan Lewis and Adam Lubani.
In a few years these Grade 1s will form the Matric Class of 2035. Until then we will celebrate their grand entry into ‘big school’ by honouring the importance 2024 ushers in for them.
These bright-eyed and eager young minds are found in local schools, such as Auckland Park Preparatory School, Crossroads School, De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School, King David Victory Park, Northwest Christian, Orban School and Reddford House Northcliff.
For a few of them, the anxious energy they woke up with disappeared when they were met with the warm welcome of their teacher. For others it was through the meeting of a new friend.
