Johannesburg North motorists urged to drive with care during storms
As the rainy season continues, JRA has encouraged motorists to make safety their top priority when driving in the rain.
With Joburg being in the middle of storm season, and facing massive storms on a near-weekly basis, the Johannesburg Roads Agency has pleaded with motorists to drive cautiously and to avoid flooded areas.
JRA urges the public to:
- Drive cautiously and avoid flooded areas.
- Report any road damage or blockages immediately.
- Stay informed about weather warnings and advisories.
- Regional standby teams are constantly monitoring and responding to any flooding emergencies, and the public is encouraged to contact the depot closest to them:
