Roosevelt High School celebrates two top achievers
The two learners were in the running for the awards with 8 000 other students from the district, making the achievements particularly impressive.
Roosevelt High School held its annual academic awards ceremony which was hosted by the Department of Education‘s Gauteng North District.
Two outstanding learners received prestigious accolades.
Leonie Poobalan secured the 5th position in the Gauteng North District, boasting an impressive average of 91% among over 8 000 exam takers.
Skylar Von Villing was recognised as the top sports science learner in the district, maintaining an 86% average.
Principal of Roosevelt High Willie de Wet said, “We commend these two exceptional young women and take immense pride in their accomplishments.”
