VOX POP: Community members speak on elections impact

Community members voice their thoughts on the potential impact of the upcoming elections.

With the elections approaching rapidly, We asked a few community members if they thought the election would have any impact, or will it be more of the same regardless.

Here is what they had to say:

Bongani Mathebula: Politics is a business, even if the ANC is removed and another party comes to power it's going to be worse, its better if the ANC stays and just fixes how they do things because they are honestly struggling.

Mojalefa Lebeya: No I feel like it is going to be the same throughout because even if we change the political party they will still be controlled by the same system, so I think it will still be the same thing.

Leani Fourie: I honestly think it will be the same regardless because we are going to need a few years to get out of where we are now.

David Silver: I believe the elections wont have an impact unless the regime changes, and when someone comes into power they look out for our nation and not their pockets that would be amazing if it happened. Nicolene Burger I don't think the elections are going to have any impact on the country because it is still going to be the same unless the ANC, to be quite honest with you, does actually choose to get out of this whole thing and maybe we choose someone else that is actually interested in
