Con Brio Cares and the Fourways community comes together to support newborns
Con Brio Cares partnered with residents to spread hope with heartfelt donations of baby bags and care packs for parents of premature infants at Rahima Moosa Hospital.
On February 24, Con Brio Cares, a Fourways-based non-profit organisation, visited the Rahima Moosa Mother & Child Hospital, to support families of premature infants.

The organisation delivered a gift of 20 premie bags, 24 baby bags, and 10 cuddly teddy bears.
In preparation for the event, residents from Fourways and surrounding areas partnered with Con Brio Cares to donate baby items and care packs, designed for premature infants and their mothers.
These care packs included essential items such as knitted clothing, beanies, blankets, wet wipes, menstrual hygiene products, bottles, pillows, baby linens, and comforting toys, intended to provide practical assistance and emotional support to families facing the challenges of premature birth.
Elindi Van den Heever, the founder of Con Brio Cares, expressed immense gratitude for the outpouring of support. “A huge thank you to every person, mom, and dad who contributed.

“Your generosity and kindness brings comfort and hope to little ones and their families. A special thanks to 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day, Denise Antunes, Zelda Williams, Jamaine Stevens, and every amazing woman who lovingly knitted these precious items.”
The organisation is already planning its next delivery, but they need the community’s help to make it happen. Currently, Con Brio Cares is seeking donations of soap, wet wipes, and menstrual pads to include in their next batch of packs.
“Every little bit helps, and we invite community members to donate items, or volunteer their time, to support families in need. We truly believe that together we can provide vital assistance to those facing uncertain times,” Van den Heever added.
