Whether you crack a window or not, you should never leave a child unattended in a car, especially during the summer as they cannot regulate their body temperatures yet.

With the current heatwaves we’re seeing in Johannesburg, it’s good to keep in mind that a car can quickly become like an oven. Children will overheat much faster than adults, and are at risk for heat-related incidents.
