Roosevelt Park Pre-Primary School finds time to celebrate the bonds of family

On Grandparents Day, a day to honour the bond that children share with their grandparents, Roosevelt Park Pre-Primary School invited their students' grandparents to enjoy treats, both of the confectionery and auditory kind.

Roosevelt Park Pre-Primary School (RPPPS) learners became wholesome, with a chance to spend Grandparents Day with their grannies, grampas, oumas, oupas, gogos, and babamkhulus, who came to spend the day with their grandchildren. Where grandparents were unable to attend, other special friends came in their place. Together, the little ones made a gift for their visitor, including some yummy treats to eat. Concluding the fun filled day was an opportunity to exercise their vocal cords in a tiny concert. RPPPS cherishes grandparents for their heritage. We should treasure them, for their input, their knowledge, and the love they bring to our lives.
