DLSHCC take wins in netball and rugby matches
With convincing wins in both netball and rugby, De La Salle Holy Cross College's 1st teams made their school proud.
De La Salle Holy Cross College’s (DLSHCC) first teams for netball and rugby recently secured major victories in their respective competitions, and the school couldn’t help but celebrate their success.

On June 2, the netball team travelled to Hoërskool Randburg for the inter-district playoffs, where they delivered strong, determined performances against Trinity Glenvista and The King’s School Linbro Park. The team won both matches, showcasing excellent teamwork, skill, and composure under pressure.
A day later, the rugby team took to the field in the highly anticipated pirates final at the Pirates Rugby Club, facing off against a formidable opponent in Bryanston High School. The match was a thrilling contest from start to finish. It was marked by fierce determination and strategic play, and the DLSHCC boys emerged victorious with a narrow, but well deserved, 27–24 win.

These back-to-back victories highlight the strength, discipline, and school spirit that defines DLSHCC sport. The college extended thanks to the dedicated coaches, who invest countless hours into developing these players, both on and off the field.
