Baboon on the loose in Northcliff: Keep children and pets inside

Residents are advised to exercise caution as authorities are working to find and detain the baboon.

Residents are advised to exercise caution as a baboon has been spotted in the vicinity of Frederick Drive and Hearn Drive in Northcliff. To ensure the safety of children and pets, please keep them indoors as a precaution.

If you see the baboon, report the sighting to the relevant authorities immediately.
It is crucial to remember the following safety guidelines: Do not feed it, do not approach it, and do not antogonise it.
Bhaai Cassim, the secretary for the Johannesburg Sub-District Community Police Board, reported that the baboon was last sighted on Frederick Drive.
Clive Maher, of SCP Security, said that they have two teams deployed in search of the baboon.
