Festive cheer for cleaner streets thank locals for a litter-

From new equipment to neighbourly support, the team celebrate a transformative 2025 with a positive outlook on the new year and what challenges await them.

As the festive season approaches, the Community-Cleaners non-profit-company team has extended heartfelt gratitude to residents for the support that has fuelled their work throughout the year.

Now, wrapping up their fourth year of service, the group says every donation, word of encouragement, and volunteer hour has helped strengthen their mission to keep neighbourhoods clean, safe, and welcoming. The team emphasised that maintaining clean public spaces not only improves the appearance of local communities; it plays a role in protecting property values and deterring crime.

According to Community-Cleaners, even a simple wave or greeting while they work has a meaningful impact on morale.

A special note of appreciation was reserved for the sponsor of the Xai-Xai competition, whose contribution enabled the organisation to purchase a new lawnmower; a significant upgrade that the team describes as a game changer for their operations.

Community-Cleaners said the progress made over just four years has been remarkable, with each passing year marked by growth, improved efficiency, and a deeper commitment to serving the community.
