Alleged Linden car crash sees hundreds of litres of water go to waste

The crash happened on a stretch of road community members claim has now become synonymous with accidents.

Hundreds of litres of water is currently gushing out onto the corner of 5th Street and 4th Avenue in Linden following an alleged collision.

A bystander, who heard the collision, says the accident took place at around 05:30 on February 27. This incident is allegedly due to a light motor vehicle’s collision with, not only a traffic light, but a fire hydrant as well, causing the gusher.

As of 09:13 Johannesburg EMS was still on scene.
