Welcome to ‘big school’ Grade 1s

It’s a new year at De La Salle Holy Cross College Junior School and each new one ushers in its newest little arrivals.

Though some had been with the school since they were in Grade RR, the year is still super special for them all as it will expose each one to a new, ‘big school’ way of life.

Looking smart in their blazers and polished shoes, the children put their best foot forward on the day as they made new friends, embraced old friendships and met their teacher for the year.

Here are some excited grade 1s along with some eager grade 2s soaking in the new year while spending time at the jungle gym.
