214 distinctions for De La Salle Holy Cross College
The school's matric class of 2022 made not only themselves but their school too with their achievements.
De La Holy Cross College High School does it again, with another matric class achieving a 100% pass rate.
The school’s class of 2022 also not only achieved a 100% bachelor’s degree pass, but the 76 candidates managed a collective of 214 distinctions which meant an average of 2.8 distinctions per candidate.

College principal, Neil Berndsen, sent out his emphatic congratulations to the class for their outstanding results. “What they have achieved is truly reflective of their commitment, resilience, and determination to succeed,” he said.
Matriculants such as Rafael Cardoso and Devin Maris achieved within the top 5% in six or more subjects and achieved a rating level of seven in Life Orientation.



Along with Cardoso, fellow matrics, Ryan Fallon, Elena Manferdini, Adam Barron, Ismail Ekmekci, and Kate Edmunds were in the top 1% for one or more of their subjects in the IEB.
Berndsen also thanked the staff and parents who, as he put it, provided the necessary support and accompaniment during the classes holistic educational journey. “May God continue to guide and bless our class of 2022 and lead you all to the opportunities that you deserve. We are exceptionally proud of you!”
