Northcliff High School’s class of 2022 does school proud
The matric class achieved a 100% pass rate
Northcliff High School’s matric class of 2022 has done themselves proud as they achieved a 100% pass rate.
With great pride, the school shared they had 97.4% of their learners qualify for tertiary studies and 83.2% attain a bachelor’s degree pass.
Walter Essex-Clark, principal of the school said he was extremely happy with how the class had conducted themselves throughout their final year. “Go out there and take on the world like we expect from you,” he said.




There was a total of 261 distinctions at the school. All subject averages were above 60% with 80 learners having an average of about 70%.
Matriculants such as Caitlyn De Ponte, Chisom Emekop, Nishka Kana, Lia McIntyre and Micaela Van Zyl each achieved seven distinctions. With six distinctions each, were Jasmine Beaumont, Daniela De Wet, Ryan Fletcher, Jared Goodacre, Mischay Naicker, Nikita Naicker, Dawn Smith and Ashley Tanton. While fellow classmates, Sandra Bekhet, Ruben Du Plessis Nikhil Manga and Angel Nwogwugwu each achieved five distinctions.
The school was undoubtedly proud of all the work put in by each learner who now will leave the confines of the school to become even great individuals.
