The school’s Loüine van der Vyver said teachers greeted all parents with banners and posters that had messages that spoke of gratitude for their involvement within the school and their great parenting.

“Our children made ‘kindness coupons’ and gave all their parents a token of appreciation,” said Van der Vyver. She also said the pre-primary school learners made artwork for their parents. During the morning, all children formed a heart and did a big ‘love you’ shout out to all parents.
