Siphesihle wants to take her salon to the top

'I believe that my work will inspire others to do good despite the challenges that they might face in life.'

My name is Siphesihle Sibisi. I have been a self-taught make-up artist for five years. I started doing make-up after taking a gap year after matric. I have been passionate about makeup ever since.

The way the makeup sat so perfectly on my face was amazing and I loved it. I then began to watch makeup tutorials on YouTube and educated myself on how to do makeup. I also bought different types of make-up and tools so I could practice. People were complimenting me on my makeup skills and asked for prices.

I then researched and equipped myself with the techniques to grow my business into an empire. I created a price list and began advertising on social media. I love enhancing people’s looks and making them feel beautiful.

This was the moment I realised that I could develop my potential by moving on and becoming a self-taught makeup artist.

My client`s reactions after I`m done with their makeup are what push me to keep going and never give up on my business. The reactions are heartwarming and exude confidence.

My ultimate goal is to inspire others to embrace their unique beauty and to feel confident in their skin. With my talent and dedication, there is no doubt that I will continue to make waves in the beauty industry for years to come and I am hoping for the best.
