Founder of Hotel Hope Ministries Oliver Quambusch stated the pre-school is about organic growth. “What began as small classroom have become a thriving education centre where abandoned and traumatised children rediscover joy in learning.”
The pre-school exclusively serves children living in Hotel Hope’s family-style homes, all between ages 1-5. “These children arrive carrying heavy burdens,” Quambusch explained.
He expressed through Montessori methods, they are gaining confidence as they learn, some of who would not speak at first now lead classroom activities with enthusiasm.
The pre-school will demonstrate how specifically designed activities, from practical lessons to sensory puzzles, helping children process trauma while developing critical skills.
Quambusch noted that four students who began in 2019 will soon graduate to primary school, a milestone showing the program’s success.
