SCP slams the state of city’s roads
With potholes on every corner, Johannesburg’s roads need traffic calming measures.
Residents’ frustrations are boiling over after the fatal accident on West Park and John Adamson roads on July 4, which left three dead.
SCP Security director Clive Maher said accidents would continue to occur in the area if traffic calming measures were not put in place as soon as possible.

Maher added that residents were fed up with how motorists drive on these roads. He stated that the road infrastructure in the city as a whole was degenerating. There are potholes left, right and centre, there are also roadworks at just about every corner, and it is crazy.
He expressed that communities have been asking long enough for the monitoring of traffic on these roads.
“The city needs to get their act together and put measures in place, and at least get the roads to a minimum standard.”
