He added that they aim to expand their visibility, innovate through technology, and keep Northcliff and the surrounding areas among the safest in Johannesburg.

This year, SCP Security is excited to expand its SCP private fire, search, and rescue division, enhance its mobile panic app, and introduce new community engagement programmes to strengthen local partnerships and visibility.

Reflecting on the previous year, the team learned that teamwork conquers all. “Whether in the field, the office, or within our community, success always comes from working together and keeping each other safe.”

Their hope for the year ahead is to recognise that no matter the challenges, it is resilience that defines people.

Maher’s wish is for 2026 to be a year of hope, growth, and unity, because together, communities can make every neighbourhood a safer, kinder, and more connected place to live.

Maher welcomed the new year surrounded by his team and family, reflecting on 2025’s achievements and setting goals for the months ahead. “It’s a time of gratitude, quiet prayer, and renewed energy to serve with purpose in the months ahead.”

He hopes the year allows him to continue leading with integrity, professionalism, and care. SCP Security will remain a pillar of reliability, ready to protect, assist, and uplift the community they proudly serve every single day.
