[GALLERY] Mountain bike riders wooed by Juma trail

EMMARENTIA – An unforgettable experience for riders.

The annual mountain bike adventure attended by thousands was a success yet again.

The Hollard Jozi Urban Mountain Bike Adventure (Juma) took place on 3 June and lived up to everyone’s expectation. Juma is the city’s ultimate mountain bike challenge that pits riders against the elements and landscape of the city. The event was attended by thousands, with batches of participants being let loose to explore the trail filled with many surprises and challenges.

The ride had a twist, as they had VIP access to some of the cities best-kept secrets and monster obstacles. Secrets such as the mine-dump crossings in Albertsville, a secluded waterfall near Rustenburg Road and the duck tunnel in Emmarentia, which is a stormwater drain decorated with graffiti. The monster scaffolding bridge along Jan Smuts Avenue was an obstacle hard for anyone to miss while riders also had to manoeuvre the pitch black stormwater drains from Zoo Lake all the way to Parkview Golf Course.

Here are a few tweets from this years Hollard Juma next year:
