Ultimate Nathan keeps on winning!
FAIRLAND – Young wrestling champion brings his fans along to new venture and asks for support.
Wrestler ‘Ultimate Nathan’ has signed a contract with the Honour Wrestling Association (HWA)that will see him come up to new heights in the sport.
Already with a huge fan base Nathaniel Govender, the young champion signed an exclusive contract with the association a leading promotion in South Africa which is growing fast in the wrestling industry.
The owner Steve Eden said, “In order to grow and be the best in this country we go out and see what talent is out there. We have monitored Ultimate Nathan’s career for a while and we saw an opportunity to offer him an exclusive contract with HWA and that will take him to the next level where he can further prove himself in South Africa and internationally.”
The contract Govender has signed with them means his goal for the HWA South African Championship or the World Heavyweight Championship could soon be realised. He said that his fans will definitely get a chance to see him grow and taking on bigger opportunities. “The is quite awesome, I get to be mentored by Steve which is exciting as I’ve followed his career for a while now and I have no doubt he will be able to point me in the right direction in this industry.”
A wrestling career is not specific to any number of years because it all depends on hard work, dedication and strong values for a young champion to pull through, as Eden pointed out when speaking of the longevity in this sport. The association is looking to grow the business and is busy with TV deals in the pipeline for the end of 2019 and beginning 2020 which is why they focus on the young talent in South Africa.
Eden also mentioned the qualities the association looked for in this new endorsement with Govender. “He will need to have charisma when it comes to support from the fans.
“He is a fast learner and has potential.”
Govender encouraged his young followers, “HWA is the place to be, I want the fans to follow me wherever I’m going, as well I need their support throughout this journey. HWA has opened its doors to many young talent and is giving them the chance at the sport. It’s not limiting.”
