MELVILLE- Interdisciplinary artist Sue Pam-Grant to exhibit monotype artwork.

Interdisciplinary artist Sue Pam-Grant will step across the road from her Front View 3 studio in Melville and show her new monotype series Mama, I swam 7 times today: Monotype Semblances at the Upstairs Gallery, Bamboo Centre.

In this new series of works on paper, Pam-Grant brings together the public and the private in an assemblage of media that co exist in her semblance monotypes. All hand made in her studio, private interiors take shape on found public papers, an archival semblance of genetic patterning, marks and lines.

She interrogates the astonishingly fine line that lies between fragility and resilience by with works entitled The In-between Space, The Gap Space and The Empty Space, which creates the Private Interior Portrait.

Pam-Grant works from, her ‘street interface space’ Front View 3, in Melville where she interfaces her practice with the pavement and her passing public in a daily dialogue and exchange.
