‘F’ is for Funny

JOBURG - Ever laughed so hard that you couldn't breathe? The F-word, a show featuring some of the best of our local comedians is sure to leave you breathless.

Get ready to fall over laughing.

The F Word, a series of various comedy shows starring local talent, is set to hit the stage at the People of Performing Art Centre in Johannesburg starting on 26 June. This laugh-a-minute event is billed as the National Arts Festival’s ‘unofficial’ preview show.

Linden’s Deep Fried Man, Auckland Park’s Robbie Collins, Eureka Nkese from Melville and Fairland’s own Jason Goliath will be starring in various shows.

Festivities kick off with Starship Improvise hosted by Chris Forrest and featuring Ryan Whittal, Vittorio Leonardi and Richelieu Benoir in a battle of improvisation. No comedian has gone here before, the event flyer warns intriguingly.

On 27 June Whose Your Daddy (hosted by Chris Forrest) and Funnier than Them (starring Chris Forrest, Warren Robertson and Deep Fried Man) share the privilege of tickling your funny bone, and it’s time for That Bushmen’s Crazy and Stand Up for Comedy on 28 June.

Goliath and Goliath finishes off the party on 29 June.
