Weather: It’s getting hot in here! We’ll be reaching highs of 31 degrees celsius today.

Random fact: It is physically impossible for pigs to look up into the sky.

News: Due to the drought, JHB water has implemented restrictions, lower pressure and fines. However, this resident has been fighting for months to rectify a bill of 655kl of water amounting to R20000. Have you had municipal issues too? Get in touch with your councillor!

On this day in history: In 1961, Walter Sisulu, Lillian Ngoyi and Alfred Nzowere arrested after attending a party that was used as a cover-up for a political meeting at the house of Lillian Ngoyi.  They were charged but the case was later withdrawn because there was no sufficient evidence provided to prove that the party was in fact, a meeting.

If you missed yesterday’s news, we’ve got you covered.
