#GuessWhoIsComingForDinner? Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse!

NORTHCLIFF – Wine and dine with an SA music legend.

There will be an exotic Kenyan dinner, live jazz and conversation with an SA music legend, and you’ve been invited.

On 4 August Negritude African Emporium will honour South Africa’s most loved and respected artist Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse by hosting a #GuessWhoIsComingForDinner experience.

The legendary Mabuse will be in attendance on the night to share some of his personal stories. The event will see dinner guests enjoying an exotic buffet of Kenyan dishes prepared by two world-class master chefs while being served some fine wine.

Hotstix, who has become an indispensable member of South Africa’s entertainment industry, as both a performer and businessman.

In addition to his illustrious career as a musician, he also contributed to the arts as a board member of National Arts Council and Southern African Music Rights Organisation (Samro).

All these achievements have gained him national and international recognition over the years, and this dinner will honour him more than adequately.

Prior to the dinner, there will be a pop-up market from 3pm where upcoming designers will be given a platform to showcase their latest works.

 

 

When the dinner begins at 8pm award-winning jazz artist Tafadzwa Mteswa will keep guests entertained with some soulful jazz while they enjoy conversations with the man of the moment, Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse himself.

Organisers say that this is only the beginning, as they plan to host more of these dinners with people from different disciplines and countries who are owed a celebration for their contribution to arts, culture, politics, sports and other fields. These dinners not only allow guests to celebrate icons but also to experience some of the continent’s best cuisine.

The Guess Who’s Coming For Dinner series aims to grow the brand even further, and acquiring sponsorship would enable this. This growth will allow them to prosper and expand into different regions on the continent.
