Wanted KZN Crime syndicate captured in Newcastle

A wanted criminal syndicate, operating throughout KwaZulu-Natal, has been finally brought to book the gang was apprehended by Newcastle law enforcement officers.

Imran Ghafoor, of the Newcastle Crime Fighters Task Team, said the suspects had been committing fraud, theft, and house break-ins throughout KZN.

The Newcastle Crime Fighters Task Team, together with Optimus Prime Services and Newcastle SAPS Detectives, worked closely together to ensure the successful capture and arrest of the group of criminals.

A total of four suspects, two men and two women, were arrested.

The suspects have been successfully linked to a housebreaking case in Howick as well as a case of fraud and a house break-in in Newcastle.

If anyone else has been scammed by the four suspects, they are urged to contact Imran at 072 632 300 and provide him with their case numbers.
