MasterChef South Africa judge and celebrity, Chef Benny Masekwameng is coming back to Newcastle!

Blackrock Casino will host its first ever Food and Drink Extravaganza next Saturday, showcasing all the culinary world has to offer.

Guests will be spoilt for choice with a selection of drinks, gourmet food and entertainment extraordinary enough to knock your socks off.

“It’s all going down on Saturday, November 29 at Blackrock’s conference rooms and adjoining outdoor area,” said Blackrock Casino Marketing Manager, Veneshrie Chetty.
“Guests are welcome to enter the venue at any time from 2pm to 10pm. We will be showcasing an impressive range of beers, ciders, wines, whiskeys, brandies and delicious gourmet dishes,” she added. “To up the ante, MasterChef’s Chef Benny will be making a guest appearance on the day.”

Tickets can be purchased at the casino’s cash desk for R120 each for cardholders and R150 each for non-cardholders. The ticket price includes 10 vouchers, a goodie bag as well as entertainment by DJ Thys and saxophonist, Chris Jensen. Additional vouchers can be purchased on the day.

For guests travelling from out of town or Newcastillians looking for a little more luxury, Blackrock has put together a special Show-and-Stay package. The offer is valid from November 28 to November 29.

The package includes bed and breakfast, two tickets to the Food and Drink Extravaganza and two FreePlay vouchers to the value of R50 each. Valued at R1 619, the package is available for only R1 199.
