Book launch – ‘Diary of a Guji Girl’ by Qaanitah Hunter.
CANSA is proud to host Mail and Guardian author Qaanitah Hunter at the launch of her book ‘Diary of a Guji Girl’ on 15 March at 11am at the Mediclinic Conference Centre. About the author:
Qaanitah Hunter is a political reporter for the Mail and Guardian, a South African daily newspaper. She has extensive experience reporting politics for print, online and broadcast media.
She is a graduate of Madressah Islaahul Muslimaat and studies Political Science at the University of South Africa. ‘Diary of a Guji Girl’ started as a blog which went viral in less than a year. It gained recognition in the SA Blog Awards 2013 as runner-up for Best Lifestyle and Entertainment blog. The blog went on to inspire her debut novel. Published by WordFlute Press, South Africa.
