Going ‘bos’ for the SPCA
Acclaimed singer and songwriter, Anton Myburgh is coming to town next week.
Anton will join local artists on stage at the Family Fun Day, hosted by Pierr de Jager of BamboesBos (corner of HJ van Eck Drive and Allen Street) on March 26.
The day promises something for each member of the family.
Mr de Jager said numerous children’s activities will be hosted, and expect plenty of food stalls, a cash bar, braai facilities and a big screen TV set up for the weekend’s rugby matches.
“I love charity work, and my mother worked for the SPCA for 12 years. We decided to do something to keep people in town over the Easter holidays, and managed to get Anton down at a reasonable cost.”
Funds raised through the fun day will be used by the SPCA to assist animals without owners, and those owned by impoverished owners.
