R20 000 up for grabs at Blackrock Darts Tournament

Blackrock Casino and Supersonic have teamed up to host the 2014 Blackrock Darts Competition on August 2. Prizes include R20 000 and a Suncoast Casino package to the value of over R9 000.

Based on the turnout of their previous dart competition, Blackrock is expecting an assortment of competitors, ranging from well-established to junior contenders.

“Spectators are welcome, but there are a limited number of tickets available. The dress code is semi-formal for both spectators and competitors. We look forward to an evening of sportsmanship and entertainment,” said Rebecca Rachabane, Blackrock Casino Promotions and Events Coordinator.

The event will take place in the area previously known as ‘Blackrock Kiddies Corner’ from 9am to 7pm, with both the singles and doubles entries opening at 9am. Delicious snacks and beverages will be prepared by the finest of Blackrock’s chefs and sold throughout the day.

To register for the tournament, visit the cash desk at Blackrock Casino. Out of town competitors can register for the competition by contacting Terence, Supersonic’s Event Coordinator, on 076 618 5476.

Late registrations can be done at Blackrock on the day of the tournament from 9am to 10am, providing there are still places available.
