Wembezi community served lunch

A long queue and smiling faces greeted the team as they served lunch with efficiency and a warm smile

Chantel Sookhinunthen joined the Iskcon Food for Life team on a trip to Wembezi where the residents were served a piping hot vegetarian lunch on Sunday. Ms Sookhinunthen sponsored the meal in memory of her dad, Estcourt businessman Anup Sookhinunthen, who passed away three months ago.

She said that her father had a heart for the community and enjoyed serving residents, sponsoring functions and providing jobs for locals through his business. A long queue and smiling faces greeted the team as they served lunch with efficiency and a warm smile. If you would like to sponsor a meal contact Ramleela Devi (Roshni) on 084 585 0900 or Paramdham Das (Pradeep) on 076 528 0541.
