Saving lives on Sunday

Although many regular blood donors were battling 'flu, 27 donors attended and 21 pints were donated

Blood donors braved the Sunday morning chill factor and made their way to the Forderville Primary School Hall to donate a pint of life-saving plasma.

The clinic was hosted by the South African National Blood Service and the Estcourt Sai Centre. Although many regular blood donors were battling ‘flu, 27 donors attended and 21 pints were donated. The Estcourt Sai Centre and SANBS would like thank all the new donors who attended on Sunday.

Don’t forget that June is Blood Donor Month and you too can save a life by donating a pint.
