Racers racing for first place

Newcastle Raceway held its annual prize giving last Saturday at the Oval Track.

Among the awards given, were Most Improved Driver of the Year and the Master of Disaster. The latter is for the driver who crashed the most during the course of the year.

The effort put in by those behind the scenes were not ignored. Ticket sellers, announcers and everyone who helped prepare and maintain the track were commended.

The night ended with Newcastle Raceway members enjoying a night of socialising.
